Vote for our Short Film!

On May 28th, a small but extremely passionate army of independent filmmakers came together to create a short film – "Remain." The film was crafted to screen at multiple film festivals, including the My Rode Reel film competition. Among several awards, this competition offers the opportunity to win the Audience Choice award. This award is more than just a trophy or certificate of achievement... This award includes over $50,000 worth of professional film gear. Yes, it would be great to have a bunch of cool toys, but most importantly, with this gear, opportunities are endless for Hidden District Studios. Our business will go from a small husband and wife outfit which occasionally makes videos and short films, to a full production house that offers services and gear to all aspects of a film project.

Please help us achieve the Audience Choice award by voting for our short film. It takes only a few moments of your (much appreciated) time. The film is 3 minutes in length and takes less than a minute to vote.

We would also love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Thank you in advance for you support!

Welcome to our blog!

Thank you for stopping by! 2016 will be a huge year of video and film production for us, and we would like to share the process with you along the way!

What have we been up to?

Getting you up to speed... around August of 2015, we were approached by Sunset Studios with a distribution deal for our feature film, "Adira." The film was official released May 5th, 2016.

There are a few ways you can get ahold of the film:

Since the making of Adira, until now, I have been working as a freelance video editor and an Online film instructor at The Los Angeles Film School since June 2015.

"Remain"

After a 2 year hiatus, we produced, shot and edited the short film, "Remain," written by Irene Delmonte. It was a 10 hour shoot on May 28th with a 19 person Cast and crew. I edited a 3 minute version of the film for the My Rode Reel competition (please vote :) ) in hopes of winning $50K worth of film and video gear. While the competition is taking place, we are working on a more polished, extended version of the film so we can submit it to various film festivals. This will include a scene that was cut out and a more extensive end credits.

What's next?

We have 2 more short films in the lineup. A psychological thriller called "Repose," which will be directed by Irene sometime this summer. After that, a sci-fi called "The Earth Between Us, which will be directed by me closer to the end of summer, beginning of fall.

So there you have it! The goal here is to stay busy with these shorts films, have quick turn arounds, and get ready to make more!

In the meantime, let us know your thoughts! And questions! We'd love to hear from you!
